Santa joins Hunters Crossing Neighborhood Association for toy drive parade

BOWLING GREEN Ky.-Santa and his elves made a trip to the Hunters Crossing neighborhood Sunday afternoon for a small local parade.
Both Santa and Mrs. Claus joined the Hunters Crossing Neighborhood association for the Santa Parade and toy drive. The event was a safe way for residents to wave to Santa, get some candy, and donate toys all at the same time. The Woodburn volunteer fire department and the Warren County sheriff’s office joined in. Participant Mandi Wells said it felt great to spread some holiday cheer.
“It’s just fun. This year has been crazy and so different. It’s just something we can do fun as a neighborhood to come together, and the kids still get to see Santa Claus and experience the magic of Christmas,” Wells said.
All the toys donated will go directly to the Rich Pond Elementary family resource center.
