Local shops looking forward to Black Friday 2020

BOWLING GREEN Ky.- Falling leaves spell good news for businesses both large and small. It means Black Friday is just around the corner.
Even though times are different during the Covid-19 pandemic, local shop owners like Susan Hoechner from Barbara Stewart interiors says she’s ready to welcome shoppers in this holiday season.
“Black Friday will be fun because we’re having lots of sales and specials. Small business Saturday is really kind of our day,” Hoechner said.
Local shops are getting ready to get back on track to safely welcome the shoppers in this holiday season, while keeping the experience safe with masks and hand sanitizer.
Our local shops like Melodies and Memories are looking forward to good numbers this year, especially for those looking for new ways to enjoy vintage music. Melodies and Memories Owner Bobby Mosley said numbers are always good around the holidays.
“It’s probably my best-selling point. Between November, December, and partially January are usually the best months,” Mosely said.
Even with the experience of shopping being different in 2020, local business owners say nothing holds a candle to the support of local businesses in Bowling Green.
