Drive-thru flu vaccination clinics at multiple Barren County schools

GLASGOW, Ky.- Friday morning, citizens in Barren County were given the chance to get flu vaccinations.

At multiple Barren County schools like Hiseville Elementary, anyone could come by to get flu vaccinations at no cost to them. This was not just limited to students, anyone in the community who wanted one could get one.

This came from a partnership between the Barren County Schools and the Cumberland Health Medical Center Healthy Kids Clinic. Earlier in the week, rapid COVID tests were also available at various Barren County Schools.

School officials are emphasizing to the public that getting a flu shot is crucial, even amidst a pandemic.
