Thursday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky

Thursday, Governor Beshear announced 745 new cases, bringing the total number of cases in the bluegrass state to 64,158. 13 new deaths were reported today, bringing the statewide total to 1,137.

Governor Beshear also announced today that 122 people are currently in the ICU.

The Barren River District Health Department returned to reporting local numbers tonight. Here’s a look at the number of cases since the start of the pandemic broken down by county.

-WARREN COUNTY: 4,300 (+27)

– BARREN COUNTY: 737 (+13)

– LOGAN COUNTY: 567 (+9)

– BUTLER COUNTY:352

– ALLEN COUNTY: 323 (+6)

– SIMPSON COUNTY: 279 (+1)

– HART COUNTY: 186 (+2)

– EDMONSON COUNTY: 151 (+2)

– METCALFE COUNTY:119 (+2)
