Wednesday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky

Wednesday, Governor Andy Beshear announces one of the highest number of new cases reported. 816 new cases were announced, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 49,991.

 

10,463 individuals have now fully recovered, but 18 more Kentuckians have died from the virus bringing the total number of deaths to 966.

 

Here’s a look at the total number of cases broken down by counties:

 

–WARREN COUNTY: 3,427 (+64)

 

– BARREN COUNTY: 514

 

– LOGAN COUNTY: 451

 

– BUTLER COUNTY:  326

 

– ALLEN COUNTY: 254

 

– SIMPSON COUNTY: 232

 

– HART COUNTY: 151

 

– EDMONSON COUNTY: 133

 

– METCALFE COUNTY: 87
