Man charged in two July robberies

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A man police arrested here in June on a Tennessee fugitive warrant has been charged with two robberies in Bowling Green.

Bentonio Crockett, 40, of Bowling Green, is accused of robbing a pizza delivery person July 9 and University Liquors July 17, according to a release from the Bowling Green Police Department.

He is charged in each case with one count of second-degree robbery, Warren Circuit Court records show.

Crockett was arrested Friday and released on a $5,000 bond Monday. Preliminary hearings on both of the robbery cases are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Sept. 4 in Warren District Court.
