Glasgow police arrest man in stabbing incident

GLASGOW, Ky. – One man was injured and another locked up after a stabbing incident was reported Saturday at Mayfield Plaza.
Officers were called to the area and when they arrived found a man bleeding from his left ear, according to a release from the Glasgow Police Department.
Officers determined that a fight occurred between that man and William Jones, 61, of Glasgow, during which time, Jones is accused of cutting the man with a knife, according to the release.
The injured man was treated at the scene.
Jones was charged with second-degree assault and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center. His bond is set at $5,000.
