Thursday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky
Thursday, Governor Andy Beshear announced 748 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the state to 45,978.
9,731 individuals have now fully recovered, but today, eight more Kentuckians have died from the virus. This brings the total number of deaths in Kentucky to 910.
Governor Beshear said 11 of these new cases today are high school students in Warren County. According to the governor, that means so far just this week, 36 kids between the ages of six and 18 have contracted the virus in Warren County.

– Barren County: 475 (+3)
– Logan County: 422 (+9)
– Butler County:319 (+3)
– Allen County: 248 (+6)
– Simpson County: 209
– Hart County: 137 (+4)
– Edmonson County: 132 (+2)
– Metcalfe County: 86 (+1)
