South-Central Workforce Development Board working on coding cohort partnership
BOWLING GREEN Ky.-The South-Central Workforce Development Board is currently working on a plan to expand people’s skills when it comes to the online world.
Through a partnership with the BC skills academy in Glasgow, the Workforce Development Board is looking to start up a computer coding cohort.
The goal is to provide people ages 18 or older the chance to hone their skills when it comes to our continually advancing world of technology.
Last year, the Workforce Development Board partnered with BC skills for a coding boot camp. Because that pilot initiative was so successful, the organizations are looking to launch a Bowling Green-Warren County program dealing with various technology related professions.
The goal is for this program to officially kick off this January.
