Metcalfe County School District holds clothing giveaway for kids

EDMONTON, Ky.-The Metcalfe County School District is once again reaching out to give a helping hand to the community of Edmonton.

A clothing giveaway was held Thursday and Friday at the Metcalfe County Elementary School primary gym. Tables were full of shirts, pants and sweaters just to name a few.

This marks the third year for the Metcalfe County School District Family Resource Youth Services Center clothing giveaway, where anyone in the community with kids who attend school in the district can get free clothes.

Due to Covid, things looked different this time around, as everyone was required to be masked.
