Sheriff’s office searches for missing elderly man

FRANKLIN , Ky. – Simpson County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Golden Alert for Jessie Morgan Gregory, a 67-year-old man who was last seen Jan. 17 at Dinwiddie Road home.

“The longer he is missing the more concerned we are,” Sheriff Jere D. Hopson said. “We did several searches out there and then we did a big search where we had fire and rescue come out with us.

“The family is worried. He doesn’t have a car. He just disappeared,” Hopson said.

He is a white man, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and was last seen wearing red and white checkered pants with tears on the front and back, a gray pullover shirt and a red and whit knit cap. He wears his hair in pony tail.
