Kentucky State Police hosting fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Kentucky State Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance helping Special Olympics.

The law enforcement agency is hosting its Cover the Cruiser campaign next week in support of Special Olympics Kentucky.

State Police posts across the state will have cruisers parked at designated locations and will encourage the public to cover the cars with custom Special Olympics stickers.

Kentuckians can purchase those stickers for $1 at the designated locations and place them on the cruiser.

In the WNKY viewing area, a cruiser will be parked from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29 at the Casey’s General Store on Sugar Maple Dr. in Auburn.
