KHSAA Commissioner Planning on Fall Sports

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The future of fall sports across the state of Kentucky got a little bit clearer today as KHSAA Commissioner Julian Tackett joined the Interim Joint Committee on Education’s Tuesday morning meeting to provide an update on the restarting of high school athletics.

Tackett says that as of right now, the KHSAA is planning on having fall sports here in the Commonwealth, and that the organization is more optimistic today than they have been in past weeks.

We should find out a lot more about the status and guidelines that come with fall athletic activities during the KHSAA’s Board of Control meeting, which is scheduled to take place on Friday.

Currently, Kentucky high schools are allowed to have limited practices in small groups, but those restrictions could be lifted depending on what the Board decides at the end of this week.
