Bowling Green adopts FY 2020-2021 budget
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The city of Bowling Green officially adopted its annual budget on Thursday.
City commissioners voted unanimously on the budget during a special called meeting.
The total budget is just over $114 million. Due to the coronavirus, it’s about $10 million less than the current budget.
As WNKY has previously reported, city residents will not see a property tax increase for the 17th consecutive year.
There are also a number of capital projects in the budget, including new parks and sidewalks and upgrades to roads.
