County officials remind the public of voting options
BOWLING GREEN Ky.-The June 23 Kentucky primary is a little more than two weeks away, and if you live in Warren County, officials want to remind you of your voting options during this unprecedented time.
If you requested a mail-in ballot, beginning tomorrow, there will be a ballot drop box at the Warren County courthouse from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The ballots must be submitted in the envelope that they were mailed in.
For those with special needs, appointments can be made to vote in-person at the courthouse from June 8 to June 22.
Phil Moore Park will be used as a polling location on election day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The booths will be sanitized in between voters, so officials say be prepared to wait.
Even with a pandemic and national protests, Warren County Clerk Lynette Yates said everyone should get out and vote.
There’s only one website to request an official Kentucky mail-in ballot. It’s here.
