WKU tuition to remain unchanged for upcoming academic year
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Western Kentucky University Board of Regents approved the school’s tuition schedule for the upcoming year and for the first academic year in decades, tuition will not increase.
The Kentucky Council on Post Secondary Education must now approve the decision..
The board also waived the distance learning surcharge fee which had been $150 extra per credit hour for full-time students enrolled in an online course.
WKU President Tim Caboni said in a release these two decisions are a way that the university can “ease the burden on our students and their families while together we navigate this unprecedented situation.”
The last time tuition was held flat was the 1979-1980 academic year.
