Community Action makes transportation changes
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Community Action of Southern Kentucky’s Transportation Department is evolving.
The non-profit organization is working on designing a new staffing structure for their transportation department.
With the recent change of leadership, they are coordinating ways to meet current needs while also preparing for the future.
They are improving their staffing structure by adding new roles and positions.
These changes will positively affect the Bowling Green BG routes.
The transportation director for Community Action of Southern Kentucky, Carroll Duckworth said he is looking forward to the changes.
“The best way to describe it is that there shouldn’t be any immediate changes that folks will see. We just want to be more efficient and effective in what we do and definitely be more customer service oriented,” said Duckworth
Duckworth says they are hoping to fill those new positions over the next few weeks.
