Briarwood Elementary staff member tests positive for COVID-19

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A staff member from Briarwood Elementary School in Warren County has tested positive for COVID-19, prompting the school district to take action.

The district announced Wednesday that Briarwood’s food preparation and distribution operation will be moved to other schools in the community until further notice.

Right now, all employees, district-wide, are wearing masks and gloves when preparing and delivering the meals, according to the district.

The individual who tested positive is going into quarantine for 14 days.

The district also said that individuals who have come into close contact with this person have agreed to quarantine for two weeks as well.
