Travel and Leisure Magazine recognizes several local businesses

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A handful of local businesses are receiving recognition from a publication.

The recognition stems from their contributions to the community as a business and a place for leisure.

This all comes after author Karen Ruffini from Travel and Leisure made a visit to Bowling Green.

Afterward, she wrote an article titled: This Down-to-Earth Kentucky City is the Unlikely Romantic Getaway of your Dreams.

The article highlights Be Happy Yoga and Salt Cave, White Squirrel Brewery, Steamer Seafood, and more.

With the help of the BG Area CVB, Travel and Leisure captured just a few of the thriving businesses in Bowling Green.

The owner of Be Happy Yoga and Salt Cave, Susan Polk, has been operating in town for two years.

Polk attributes their success to a high level of teamwork and commitment.
