Jody Richards Elementary School teacher receives award

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Ramsey, a preschool teacher at Jody Richards Elementary School recently received the Annual Kentucky DEC Outstanding Service Award.

This award is given each year to an early childhood educator who has shown outstanding service to young children with disabilities or developmental concerns.

Ramsey was honored with the award at the Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children Conference last week.

Ramsey was nominated by Beth Schaeffer, the preschool district instructional consultant for Warren County Public Schools.

Schaeffer describes Ramsey as a professional who expresses growth, collaboration, compassion and leadership.
