Health department provides update on Warren County COVID-19 case

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-On Wednesday, Gov. Andy Beshear announced Warren County’s first COVID-19 patient, a 73-year-old man.

On Wednesday the man was a patient at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital.

On Thursday, there was no update on the man’s condition, but the Barren River District Health Department announced that it is tracking down individuals that the infected person may have been in contact with in recent days.

Any individual identified will be contacted by the health department with instructions to self-quarantine to prevent possible spread of the virus.
