Bowling Green Fire Department to soon welcome new detection canine

The Bowling Green Fire Department will soon welcome a new member to the force.

Millie, the black Labrador Retriever, is a detection canine.

Millie is currently going through training with her new handler, Bowling Green fire investigator, Michael Cornwell.

During the six week school, the pair will learn to identify evidence at fire scenes.

They will graduate from the training course next month.
