New ownership coming to Kentucky Downs
Kentucky Downs is getting new ownership.
According to a news release, Kentucky Racing Acquisition, LLC, a new company founded by Ron Winchell and Marc Falcone, has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase all the assets of Kentucky Downs, from its parent company, Kentucky Downs Partners, LLC.
Kentucky Downs Partners has owned the facility since 2007.
Kentucky Racing Acquisition is expected to close in early 2019, pending approvals from the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission.
Financial terms have not been announced.
