WKU Athletics graduation rate reaches all-time high

A new report highlights the success that Western Kentucky University’s student-athletes have in the classroom.

The university announced Wednesday, WKU Athletics has posted their highest graduation success rate in program history. Their overall GSR rating stands at 85, increasing by three from last year, according to the athletic department’s website.

Women’s basketball, women’s soccer, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball, even posted perfect scores. 

The GSR scores released yesterday are based on the four freshmen classes in Division One, entering from 2008 to 2011. 

Men’s basketball saw the highest jump, rising ten points to an overall of 85.
