28,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies arrive in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky,- They’re here! Thousands of boxes of Girl Scout cookies are now on the ground in south central Kentucky.
At 9 a.m. Friday, 2,300 cases of cookies arrived at the Girl Scouts Caveland chapter office in Bowling Green.
There are 12 boxes per case, meaning there are nearly 28,000 boxes. The Caveland chapter serves 13 counties throughout south central Kentucky.
This year, each box is $5, while a box of s’mores cookies will cost you a dollar more.
There are eight different kinds of cookies, including a new lemon cookie this year.
Over the counter cookie sales will begin at the Caveland office this Monday. Sales in front of stores and other locations will start February 28.
