Scottsville man accused of leading Glasgow police on chase

A Scottsville man is under arrest in Barren County, accused of leading officers on a chase.

According to Glasgow Police, officers attempted to stop a vehicle being operated by Jordan Tracy, 30.

According to a media release, Tracy stopped but then took off at a high rate of speed on West Main Street. 

During the pursuit, Tracy wrecked his vehicle when it ran off the roadway and went through a ditch, adjacent to Meador Port Oliver Road.

Tracy was arrested without further incident. Officers say they located a glass pipe containing suspect methamphetamine residue inside the vehicle. Officers also say Tracy also had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol. 

Tracy was arrested and charged with numerous crimes.

He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
