Vehicle allegedly strikes stopped school bus in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. (Glasgow News 1) – A school bus was reportedly struck in Barren County while it was stopped on Wednesday.

According to a report by Glasgow News 1, the wreck occurred “near the intersection of Roseville Road and Country Barn Road.”

The report says Heather Gardner, the school district’s communication officer, stated emergency responders evaluated students and the bus driver, with no injuries reported.

“All parents and guardians have been contacted, and all students have either been picked up by their families or taken home on another bus,” Gardner reportedly stated in a message to Glasgow News 1. “We thank our first responders for their quick response and care for our students and driver.”
