Pita’s Place to host benefit for women rebuilding their lives after addiction

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Pita’s Place, a Kentucky recovery residence serving women rebuilding their lives after addiction, is hosting its second annual RESTORED benefit concern on Saturday, Oct. 3.

The event is scheduled to take place at the Knicely Conference Center in Bowling Green.

Presented by Flora Templeton Stuart, organizers say RESTORED 2026 will bring together nationally recognized gospel artists, community leaders, recovery advocates, supporters and women whose lives have been directly impacted by the mission of Pita’s Place.

The evening will feature performances by Bri Babineaux, James Fortune, Nate Bean & 4Given, along with additional performers, with Travis Malloy serving as host.

However, the event is more than a concert.

Founded by Toya Carpenter, organizers say Pita’s Place provides “faith-rooted sober living and comprehensive support for women working to rebuild their lives after addiction.” Since opening its doors, the organization says it has helped women secure employment, reconnect with their children, establish financial stability, engage in therapy and recovery programming and begin building independent lives.

RESTORED 2026 will also celebrate progress while helping Pita’s Place move toward its next chapter: expanding its mission into Middle Tennessee and creating another place where women can recover, rebuild and begin again.
