Bowling Green Schools announce 2026 Hall of Honor class, WNKY’s Wilson among honorees

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Independent School District announced its 2026 Hall of Honor selections Wednesday morning.

Among the honorees is 2005 graduate and WNKY News 40 Anchor Ashlee Wilson.

Joining Wilson in the 2026 Hall of Honor are Doug Mefford, Class of 1981 and Justin Tidwell, Class of 2006.

BGISD says the honorees and their families will be recognized at the Bowling Green Purples Football homecoming game on Oct. 26.
