Wellness Ranch opens in Franklin for behavioral health
FRANKLIN, Ky. – A new behavioral health facility has opened up in Franklin for individuals struggling with mental health conditions, substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health needs.
The Wellness Ranch is located on nearly 80 acres.
The campus provides group meetings, interactions with equine, sound baths, yoga, meals and professional psychoeducation as well.
The staff at this facility hope to help people who need it and many have been in the position of needing help themselves in the past.
“I’m in recovery for about 13 years now. I’ve lost a brother to addiction, and this really is my heart project. I really want to help people and build teams that want to help people. And collectively, our staff has over 130 years of recovery,” said Amanda Daniels, the executive director of the facility.
“We’re definitely different here. It’s definitely that culture of family. We will love you back to life. Right? And it’s one of those things like it’s it’s you see it. You’ve got 80 acres to Roman, you’ve got cattle, you’ve got horses. There’s all kinds of opportunities for you to really get that self-care. Really dive into what is underneath all of that hurt, shame, and guilt,” said Sarah Rogers, the clinical director at the facility.
Rogers says people often stay for around 30-45 days and says bringing photos and personal effects to make the room your own or art supplies to enjoy is encouraged.
If you need help, you can reach out to Wellness Ranch for a room at 270-200-9912.
