Bowling Green man charged with rape

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing a rape charge.

According to the Bowling Green Police Department, in late August, Bowling Green officers received a report of a sexual assault.

Authorities say during the investigation, detectives identified the suspect in the case as 21-year-old Martez L. Davis of Bowling Green.

On Sept. 24, officers say they located Davis and took him into custody.

Davis was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail. He faces a charge of first-degree rape.

The investigation remains ongoing.
