Wanted man flees police in Christian County, arrested in Clarksville

OAK GROVE, Ky. – A wanted man is accused of fleeing police in multiple states.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), deputies conducted a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard near J W Dickson Drive in Oak Grove Sunday afternoon.

Deputies say the driver, Kenneth Woods II, fled the traffic stop and continued to the intersection of Tiny Town Road where deputies terminated the pursuit.

The Clarksville Police Department continued the pursuit and located the vehicle. The pursuit ended on Creekside Drive, where Woods II exited the vehicle and fled officers on foot.

CPD quickly apprehended Woods II and arrested him.

During the investigation, it was determined that Woods II has several outstanding felony warrants in Tennessee.

CCSO says Woods II is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing or evading police, driving on a suspended license, and more charges are pending.
