Man found dead in Drake’s Creek in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WNKY) — Authorities are investigating after a deceased man was found Wednesday in Drake’s Creek near the Reginald Kirby Bridge.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received a report of a deceased person in the creek at about 1:21 p.m. in the 1200 block of Old Scottsville Road.

Deputies arrived and located a deceased male in the creek. The Warren County Coroner’s Office transported the body from the scene.

The man’s body will be sent to Louisville for an autopsy. Authorities have not released his identity or the circumstances surrounding his death.

The investigation remains ongoing.
