WNKY named as finalist for multiple Kentucky Broadcasters Association awards
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – WNKY News 40 received the announcement Thursday morning that multiple WNKY team members have been named as Excellence in Broadcasting finalists for this year’s Kentucky Broadcasters Association
The following team members have placed as finalists in the below categories, according to the KBA:
- Rookie of the Year: Micah Henson
- Overall Digital Presence: WNKY News 40
- Behind the Scenes: WNKY legend Kathy Werner
- Sportscaster of the Year: Samantha Money and Cole Scott.
- Uniquely Kentucky (Public Service Award): Micah Henson – “Bluegrass Reunion Becomes Farewell for Banjo Maker Arthur Hatfield.”
We are incredibly grateful to see some familiar names recognized this year, and we look forward to celebrating the news talent throughout Kentucky during this year’s KBA Awards in Louisville.
