COVINGTON, Ky. – A Boone County man has been sentenced to 150 months in prison for the distribution of child sexual exploitation material, officials say.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky, in May 2025, 26-year-old William Mason Fryman began speaking with an undercover agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation over Telegram to try to trade sexually explicit videos of minors.

Officials say during those conversations, which took place over several months, Fryman sent over 15 videos of child sexual abuse material to an undercover agent.

On December 9, 2025, officials say law enforcement searched Fryman’s residence under a warrant and arrested him.

Officials say Fryman was interviewed and admitted to being the individual communicating through Telegram and to using other online platforms to communicate with other individuals who were interested in trading child sexual abuse material.

The investigation was conducted by the FBI.
