Man charged with child sexual exploitation offenses after online investigation

BEAVER DAM, Ky. – A man is charged with online child sex crimes after an investigation in Ohio County.

According to Kentucky State Police, the KSP Electronic Crime Branch arrested 41-year-old Ryan Lindsey on Tuesday after an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

KSP says Lindsey shared images of child sexual exploitation online.

Detectives obtained a search warrant for Lindsey’s home and seized the equipment used to commit the alleged crimes.

Lindsey was arrested and lodged at the Ohio County Detention Center. He is charged with two counts of procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.

The investigation is ongoing.
