Allen County man charged with rape, sodomy

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – An Allen County man is facing multiple counts of of rape and sodomy.

According to a uniform citation, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department responded Tuesday, Aug. 11 regarding a verbal altercation. Authorities say they later learned sexual assault had taken place.

Deputies say they spoke with 45-year-old Ronnie Nichols of Adolphus.

Authorities say they also reviewed camera footage, which showed multiple victims had been sexually assaulted by Nichols.

Nichols was placed into custody and transported to the Allen County Detention Center.

He faces three counts of first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree sodomy.
