Christian Family Radio hosts second annual Splash Bash at Russell Sims Aquatic Center

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Christian Family Radio hosted its second annual Splash Bash at the Russell Sims Aquatic Center Wednesday afternoon.

The station invited the community to the aquatic center to not only beat the heat but the rain as well and enjoy the water, music and some giveaways.

Along with there being Chick-fil-A gift card giveaways, those in attendance were able to get “inked up” with some special tattoos.

Partnering with Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, the event gives the community another chance to come together and have some fun during the summertime.

The relationship between both organizations has been strong for several years now, and each help make a strong impact within Bowling Green.

“They do a great job all year long bringing different events for the community. And so having that partnership is just so important because, when the community comes together, it makes a big impact. And just how we relate to each other, you know, a neighbors neighbor,” said Larry Castro, program director and morning show host at Christian Family Radio.
