Bowling Green Hot Rods release official statement after earthquakes in Venezuela

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green Hot Rods team is sharing a statement following deadly earthquakes reported in Venezuela.
According to the statement released Thursday, June 25,
“The Hot Rods’ hearts are with everyone affected by the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, including our players, coaches, staff members and their families who call Venezuela home. As members of the Hot Rods family have deep ties to Venezuela, we stand alongside all those impacted and keep them in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
According to reports by NBC News, 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes hit Venezuela on Wednesday, causing buildings to collapse. The latest update provided by CNN on Thursday stated at least 188 people have died, and “more than 1,500 are injured.”
