Kentucky Blood Center holds blood drive at Mammoth Cave National Park
MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – The Kentucky Blood Center held a blood drive at Mammoth Cave National Park Tuesday to continue its “Red White and Blue Bell” donation event.
Members of the community or those interested in giving blood could visit The Lodge at Mammoth Cave from 8:3o a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday to donate to the Kentucky Blood Center.
Those who donated during the drive were given a free free T-shirt, along with a voucher for a free pint of Blue Bell Ice Cream, while supplies lasted.
The “Red, White, and Blue Bell” blood drive is an event hosted by the Kentucky Blood Center to celebrate America’s 250th birthday and started May 22 and will run until the Fourth of July.
