Smiths Grove fire chief retires after 40 years

SMITHS GROVE, Ky. — A longtime Warren County fire chief is retiring after four decades of service.

According to a social media post from the Warren County Fire Department System, Chief Kenneth Priddy is retiring as chief of the Smiths Grove Fire Department.

County chiefs and elected officials gathered Thursday at the department to honor Priddy’s leadership and community service.

The post says Priddy will remain active with the department as a member and board administrator.

The department elected Brandon Eadens as its next fire chief.
