Man pleads guilty to attacking, robbing realtor in Grayson County

Rowe

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – A man pleaded guilty to the armed robbery and kidnapping of a Grayson County realtor, according to Sheriff Norm Chaffins.

Chaffins says Keith Rowe, of Falls of Rough, pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree terroristic threatening, and fourth-degree assault on April 28.

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the victim entered the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office with blood and bruises, stating that Rowe had attacked him while showing him a home.

During the incident, Rowe demanded that the victim write up a contract and sign the home over to him, threatening to kill him if he refused.

Later, during an investigation, Rowe admitted to the crimes.

Sheriff Chaffins says Rowe received a 15-year sentence, followed by 5 years of probation and 6 months of home incarceration.

“Rowe is not to set foot in Grayson County and is to have no contact or communication with the victim in this case unless ordered by the court,” said Chaffins.
