Lady Patriot Debora Patrick signs with Campbellsville women’s basketball

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Thursday afternoon, Allen County-Scottsville’s Debora Patrick signed the dotted line to continue her athletic career in college.

The Lady Patriot is heading to Campbellsville University to play basketball with the Lady Tigers and pursue a degree in nursing in her time off the court.

Patrick spent all four seasons at ACS, totaling over 700 career points.

Her and the team are coming off the program’s most winningest season in 10 years with a 22-9 record, a 15th district title and an appearance in the 4th region tournament semifinals.

Patrick shared what lessons from her time as Lady Patriot will stick with her as she takes her talents to the next level.

“Mentality and next play. That’s what they always told me: next play. They put that mentality in me, and it’s brought me so far from where I started, and I will forever remember it,” Patrick said. “For Allen County as a whole, there’s such a support system here. Even when you’re behind, they all put in the work to make sure that you get to where you need to be.”
