2026 Junior Achievement Hall of Fame recognizes local leaders
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Honoring those who serve the community can inspire the next generation, and that was on display Thursday in Bowling Green.
Several local leaders and officials gathered at the National Corvette Museum to recognize two community leaders — Michael Buchanan and Julie Denton Price.
Both were inducted into the Junior Achievement Distinguished Hall of Fame.
Officials say they were selected for their leadership and their impact — helping inspire young people to succeed.
Monica Wardlow, a Junior Achievement board member, says, “Doesn’t matter just to our organization or just to our community, but to our workforce and also to our young people. See, every day, students walk into a classroom carrying more than just their backpacks. They’re carrying questions about their future, their place in the world.”
Some students don’t get the opportunity to have these questions answered. With the support from the community and leaders like Buchanan and Price, more students will receive access to the resources Junior Achievement offers.
