KCIA looks to expand access to medical cannabis cards statewide

Kcia

BOWLING GREEN, Ky – In April and May, the Kentucky Cannabis Industry Association (KCIA) will help guide qualified residents in the process of receiving a Medical Cannabis Card.

Most processes offer $25 for medical appointments for qualified individuals.

A series of these drives will be held throughout Kentucky during April and May 2026. The drives will help the residents feel more confident going through the registration process while also being at a low cost.

Each drive event will have materials focused on each step through the process, and educate those who are interested in the process of gaining a Medical Cannabis Card.

Included in these materials is information about Eligibility Review, Practitioner Appointments, Application Assignments, Document Guidance and Post-Certification Support.

The appointments are open to any Kentucky Resident who is eager to learn more about the Medical Cannabis Card.
