WKU Player of the Week: Hilltopper infielder Maci Masters

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Our latest WKU Player of the Week winner is Hilltopper infielder Maci Masters!
The Tops have dominated at home during Conference USA play, and the latest example of that in the sweep of Sam Houston was made possible by Masters.
The junior slugger has mashed the softball all season, and against Bearkats pitching, she went 5-7 with a pair of home runs and four RBI.
Masters led the Tops in homers and RBI a year ago and is doing so yet again in 2026.
She’s just two long balls away from tying her total of 14 from last season, and there’s still four more weeks left in the year.
With six more, she’d have the most in a single season and Masters is hoping to add to that total, while also adding to the win column, this weekend.
WKU is set to take on Liberty next with three games in Lynchburg on deck.
