BRASS seeking Easter dinner donations

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you’re looking for a way to give back to those in need, look no further.

The Barren River Area Safe Space is looking for your help. The organization is preparing two meals for families that have experienced domestic violence.

There will be one for Good Friday and one for Easter Sunday. The ultimate goal is for families to experience some relief.

Jenni Leeds, director of development at BRASS, says, “Survivors often leave quickly, which is the most safe way for them to leave. And that means they have to leave behind their personal items. They don’t have access to a personal kitchen here, which is why we prepare meals for them every day.”
