Southern Paws Animal Rescue holds Sip and Paint
AUBURN, Ky. – Southern Paws Animal Rescue hosted its monthly Sip and Paint class Monday night.
Community members can come out to the Rescue and paint a cat picture, with proceeds from donations going towards the cats they take care of.
It not only raises money for the Rescue though, because as it’s been happening, it’s helped build a community of friends, which is an added perk of something like this.
“We really want to make a community and have… where people can come out here and experience the animals and hang out with the animals. It’s really important that everyone’s kind of working together and showing support towards the animals. So it’s really nice to see people come out,” Kali Remington, Southern Paws’ president, says.
If you’d like to donate, you can visit Southern Paws Animal Rescue at their new location: 346 Harris Road, just outside of downtown Auburn.
