WKU Innovation Campus and Defying Dementia spread awareness
BOWLING GREEN, KY.- According to health experts, dementia is preventable, and one group helped people understand that.
At the WKU Innovation Campus, a program called Defying Dementia held the driving the future of brain health with technology, for the there member of the month meetup.
They gave people the chance to discover how technology and new resources reshape cognitive care.
Jenny Jacobs, the founder of Defying Dementia, shares the importance of lifestyle changes, including diet change, and the impact.
She says, “Different levels of your body can have an impact on mental clarity, so to speak. If you are someone who has been diagnosed with dementia and is living with dementia, we want you to eat real food. We don’t want you to eat overpriced, sugary food.”
