WKU President Timothy Caboni shares updates during press conference

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Although the winter weather is here, the spring semester at Western Kentucky University is in full swing.

Timothy Caboni, president of WKU, held a press conference to kick off the new semester and share some of the accomplishments from the recent semesters.

Caboni covered topics like House Bill 4 and its impact on the different organizations on campus, the benefits of giving students work experience and the record-breaking graduation.

Caboni says, “What matters to me is not the number of freshmen we recruit. It’s the number of students we graduate and the decisions we make today have repercussions for generations of students.”

This was the first of many press conferences. As WKU continues to evolve, Caboni plans to share the success of the institution.
